I can't condone a military officer threatening an elected government, but I have huge sympathy with Commodore Frank Bainimarama. The Prime Minister is clearly making a rash move in enacting a law to exonerate and free the coup leaders.

Commodore Bainimarama should resign his commission and stand as PM in Fiji. The man clearly has ethics.

It's interesting that the Czarina of Helengrad, the illustrious Helen, is in support of the Fijian PM. Of course, any parallels between the Fijians wanting to pass an act to over turn criminal actions and the New Zealand Labour government's shameful election over spending legislation is purely coincidental....
